Q. What flavours do the cookies come in?
a) Chocolate Brownie - cakey texture, rich chocolately taste
b) Real vanilla (made with Real Madagascan Vanilla Extract) - semi soft with the flavour of natural Vanilla
c) Ginger - soft & cakey with a ginger kick Gift orders are generally a mixture of all 3 flavours (unless otherwise specified or unless the order is a single cookie) Wedding or event cookies are made in your choice of flavour or flavours
Q. How long do they last?
All cookies are made fresh to order, just prior to despatch. Gift box cookies are best eaten within a month (or will stay yummy for up to 3 months if transferred to an airtight container). Individually wrapped cookies (that's everything that is not gift boxed) will stay yummy in their ribboned bags for a good 3 months
Q. Can I send cookies to more than one destination?
Yes, either order the cookies separately (so you can enter a different shipping address for each order), or just email the details (products, and delivery addresses) to us (alli@customcookieco.co.uk) and we will do the rest.
Q. How will you deliver my cookies?
UK Mainland & Northern Ireland Deliveries: There are several delivery options which you can choose (and the prices for each will be shown) in your shopping basket prior to finalising your order on the checkout page.
First Class (Royal Mail)
Usually next day but may take longer! This is the most economical option for small orders but is not guaranteed or tracked. If you choose first class shipping, if time is permitting, we will post 2 days before your required delivery date. We do not recommend first class for urgent, time critical or high value orders.
Special Delivery (Royal Mail)
Guaranteed next WEEK day delivery (from despatch) or your postal costs refunded (choose Saturday Special if you need your item to arrive on a Saturday). This is the most economical; 'Guaranteed' option for smaller orders. Choose this option if you need a gift item to be delivered on a specific week day. Whilst Royal Mail 'guarantee' this next day delivery service we have experienced occasional delays in the past. We will, however refund your postal costs if your Special Delivery does not arrive on time.
Saturday Special Delivery (Royal Mail)
Guaranteed Saturday delivery (from despatch on a Friday) or your postal costs refunded. Choose this option if you need a gift item to be delivered on a Saturday. Whilst Royal Mail 'guarantee' this Saturday delivery service we have experienced occasional delays in the past. Courier (Excluding N. Ireland)- Overnight courier, best value for orders of 20 cookies or more. Guaranteed next day delivery from despatch (£12.40 for orders up to 85 cookies) Airmail Europe - 3-5 days non guaranteed Airmail Rest of the World - 5 days + depending upon final destination.
Collection
You are welcome to collect your cookies from our bakery in Hindhead, Surrey (there is a small charge for the protective fill & outer cartons)
Q. How are the cookies packaged & presented?
A. Gift boxes of cookies are lined with food grade cushion pad (the spongey material you find in chocolate boxes) and glassine, overwrapped with tissue paper, lidded and sealed with a banding strip. Inside the box is a ribboned gift tag bearing your special message (which you add at checkout). Apart from the main cookies in the box we also use smaller hand decorated 'filler cookie' to ensure the box is completely fully and there is no movement within the box. The number of cookies in the box may vary slightly from the picture on the website because handmade cookies vary in size a little bit.
B. All other gift cookies are bagged, sealed & ribboned and presented in a tissue lined premium gift bag attached to which is a ribboned gift tag bearing your special message.
C. Wedding, Event & Corporate cookies are individually wrapped and trimmed with a satin ribbon in a colour of your choice. Gift tags can be designed to suit your theme, colours, brand or message and attached to the ribbon of each cookie - for prices please e-mail details and numbers required to alli@customcookieco.co.uk
